From Badesi to Palau, via the Archipelago of La Maddalena, in 2022 the Blue Flag flies over 21 beaches and 6 locations in North Sardinia.
The Blue Flag is the quality certificate from the FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education) awarded to seaside locations that meet important criteria such as sea purity, beach cleanliness, waste separation, pedestrian areas, cycle paths, green areas, beach services, urban furniture, hotel and health facilities. It is a fundamental point of reference not only for those seeking beautiful and unspoiled beaches, but also equipped with the most sought-after comforts for a relaxing seaside holiday.
In the vicinity of Delphina hotels and resorts, numerous seaside locations in Santa Teresa Gallura, La Maddalena, Palau, Badesi, Trinità d’Agultu e Vignola have been confirmed among the beaches with the most beautiful sea in Italy.
Blue Flags 2022 in Badesi
The beach of Li Junchi, with its 8 kilometres of fine sand and clear waters, overlooking the Resort Le Dune. A Blue Flag holder since 2016, it is the preferred destination for those who love to enjoy the sea in total freedom, with ample space to play, walk or relax with the whole family.

Li Junchi is also the ideal place for outdoor activity enthusiasts: from water sports such as surfing, windsurfing, and sailing to long walks in nature, to observe the unique variety of flora and fauna that inhabits its golden sand dunes, covered by junipers that stretch along the entire coastline. The Blue Flag status has also been reconfirmed for Li Mindi and the Baia delle Mimose further west.
Blue Flags 2022 in Costa Rossa
Three Blue Flags also fly on the beaches of the territory of Trinità d’Agultu, with its picturesque red rocks. Spiaggia Longa, with shallow waters and turquoise seas, fronts the lively seafront of Isola Rossa and is just a stone’s throw from the Hotel Torreruja 4 star superior. The bay of La Marinedda, right opposite the 5-star Hotel Marinedda, is considered one of the most important spots in North Sardinia for surfing and windsurfing. It’s not only surfers who love it, but also those who adore fiery sunsets. As the sun sets, the cliffs turn red and the sky and water merge, offering a rainbow of orange-pink hues. Finally, the natural amphitheatre of Cala Sarraina, between Isola Rossa and Vignola and next to the beauties of Costa Paradiso, is an ideal destination for those seeking moments of tranquillity.

Blue Flags 2022 in Santa Teresa Gallura
Continuing towards the east coast of Gallura, the Blue Flag flies on four beaches of the colourful village of Santa Teresa Gallura. Rena Bianca and Rena di Ponente, among the first to be awarded on the island, Zia Columba/Rena di Levante awarded in 2016 and Santa Reparata in 2018.
For those seeking beaches with shallow waters stretching to the horizon, Rena Bianca and Rena di Ponente will be highly appreciated. The former a short walk from the centre of Santa Teresa Gallura, the latter on the west side of the Capo Testa peninsula isthmus, a must-visit for trekking enthusiasts. All four are a ten-minute drive from the Resort Valle dell’Erica Thalasso & Spa.

Guests of the Hotel Capo d’Orso, the Residence Il Mirto and the Park Hotel Cala di Lepre can choose between the Blue Flags Palau Vecchio and Isolotto in Palau and the white pearls of the Archipelago of La Maddalena.
The beauty of the Archipelago of La Maddalena is represented by seven marvellous beaches where the Blue Flag flies.
