The Stars of 2024

This year, we expect prominent names such as Nicoletta Manni, étoile of Teatro alla Scala, and Sergio Bernal, star of the National Ballet of Spain. Among the guests are also António Casalinho, a young talent of the Bavarian State Ballet, Margarita Fernandes, soloist of the Bayerisches Staatsballett, Julian Mackay, principal of the same theater, and Jacopo Tissi, principal of the Dutch National Ballet. But that’s not all: Luiza Lopes, principal dancer of the Royal Swedish Ballet in Stockholm, and Gustavo Carvalho, principal dancer of the Ballett am Rhein in Düsseldorf, will also perform. A Stage of Excellence

Over the past four years, Danza nel Vento has seen the best dancers from the international scene perform, creating one of the most exciting dance shows in the world. We have seen stars like Alice Mariani, prima ballerina of Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Mayara Magri and Matthew Ball from the Royal Ballet in London, Melissa Hamilton from the Royal Ballet, and Daniil Simkin from the American Ballet Theatre in New York take the stage. Artists who, with their elegance and strength, promise to make the evening unforgettable.

An Event Not to Be Missed

“Danza nel Vento is the result of madness,” says the artistic director Rossella Cardo, “the madness of bringing a high moment of dance to an audience that for forty years has been an attentive spectator in Gallura.” And who can blame her? The event has always been sold out, and this year will be no different. Rossella Cardo, trained at the Dance Academy of Rome and then in Moscow and Leningrad, founded the Artballet dance school in Santa Teresa Gallura in 1984. Since then, she has raised generations of dancers, bringing her students to perform at major events such as Roberto Bolle’s “Ballo in Bianco” in Piazza Duomo in Milan and offering them the opportunity to participate in television programs such as Maria De Filippi’s “Amici”.
